Free Fall Recipes - A warm hug on a cold fall night.

Chicken and Broccoli Rice Casserole                                                                                                 

1 cup cooked rice

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 package frozen broccoli cooked

2 cups chicken (canned or rotisserie)

½ of a small Velveeta block

½ cup of milk or water

Mix all ingredients in a 9x13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 350° or until cheese has melted. Let cool before cutting.

 



Hungarian Goulash (For Crock-pot)

2 lbs beef cubes                       2 TBS Worcestershire Sauce                                                                       

1 large onion sliced                1 cup water

1 clove garlic minced             2 tsp salt

½ cup ketchup                        2 tsp paprika  

1 tbsp brown sugar                 ½ tsp mustard

 

Place meat in crock-pot. Place sliced onion over meat. Combine garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, paprika, and mustard. Stir in 1 cup of water. Pour over meat and onions. Cover and cook low for 8 to 10 hours. Then turn to high. Dissolve ¼ cup of cornstarch in a small amount of cold water. Stir into meat and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes.
